September 4, 2020 - Decanted for 5 hours before tasting. Beautiful rich purple color. So approachable, silky and filled with cassis, black cherry notes. What a pleasure to drink. Tannins were light but still had enough backbone. Long decant may have led to their softening. At times, I wished for a little more tannins but nonetheless this wine was a pleasure to drink. Need to buy more 2012 if any still available. Great value for the quality of this wine. Wine is ready to drink at this stage in my opinion.

August 8, 2020 - Loved it. Started nice with spice and an hour later lots of raspberry. Happy I have 2 more in the cellar. One of our favorites in recent memory.

April 12, 2020 - Great nose, dark purple color, full bodied with blue and black fruit, cassis, minerals on palate and long finish. A lot of sediment and benefitted from 30 minute decant.

December 1, 2019 - Decanted & consumed over three hours. Dark dried fruit & a little earth on the nose. Dark fruit and spice flavors - very tannic - IMO this wine needs time. Went better with the roast we had for dinner rather than alone.
    HOLD.

October 6, 2019 - Beautiful and powerful, yet elegant, with so much personality. The type of wine where you cannot wait for the next sip. I'm an idiot for not having bought more, especially knowing this would be one of the last years that they have access to this vineyard. Decanted for one hour.
