May 5, 2016 - At first scent it pops with pear and apple, and melts to a buttery nose. Butter dominates early with some oaks notes on finish. Fruit is pear and lime zest. The presence of an alcohol essence is disappointing but overall a nice, crisp treat.
2nd bottle, less impressed. Butter early palate but more melon and honeydew. Ripe pear with a finish of toasted something almost creme brulee. Still, acidity and lack of complexity make this a solid but unremarkable wine.
