December 19, 2021 - This wine has an attractive color, but that is also its most positive feature imho. Although nothing really wrong with this, it misses a Wow-factor. Rather mediocre on every aspect of smell and (after)taste. Sour cherries, some woody notes and all in all a bit dull. Had some higher hopes for this when bought 6 years ago, but I’m afraid this won’t live up to my expectations.

June 14, 2020 - Very good, fresh bourgogne from a biological producer, I was never disappointed so far. Bouquet of sour cherries and strawberries with some depth developing on day 2. Closer to a Gevrey Chambertin than to a standard Bourgogne.

March 29, 2020 - Almost medium red. Nose is of red fruit, inc strawberry. Tart, light body but pretty good concentration. This is pretty and does best with food, due to the acid and tannin over running the fruit.

July 5, 2019 - Favorite of the night. Great slate and rock profile with a nice balance of raspberry. Clean medium body. A freshness and clarity with a surprising depth. Tannins very well integrated and pleasurable. Drink now.

June 6, 2019 - At last. A £20 Burgundy that tastes like a Burgundy and actually has something to offer over and above screechy tannins. This has a funky little bit of depth going on, a bit of lift and an elegant perfumed finish. Great stuff. Ready now but a few more years will really funk this up.
