December 18, 2020 - Purple to a cherry rim. Plums and some earthy components on the nose. Fruit upfront is masked by tannins. Finishes dry with a short finish

Going to wait another year to try the next one but suspect this will be best in 3 years

    November 25, 2020 - Color: Purple
Nose: Very Aromatic; Cinnamon, Tobacco, Earthy, Dried Plums, and Cherry; Wow
Taste: PnP was quite Coiled; Aerator opened to Dried Plums and Blackberries; Light Bing Cherry and Cranberry Tang; Finish Opens Up to a Chewy Dark Chocolate and Coffee; Solid Acidity and Tannin Balance
Comp's: Similar to Napa Valley Fruit in the $50 Range; I was hoping for more of a Lingering Finish but Solid Mouthfeel

May 15, 2020 - Enjoyed from cellar without decanting for impromptu happy hour. Tannins were dominating but settled somewhat in glass. Paired ok with the briney turkey muffulettas.

December 25, 2019 - This turned out to be one of the best wines of the year for us. Clearly Napa Cab, 100% varietally correct, but I believe they threw some Petit Verdot and Merlot in it, but almost all Cab. A "masterpiece", what a find. Cigar box, licorice, graphite, dark cherries, earthy. Just a click back from robust, everything including the presence of tannins are fully-integrated and well-balanced, we thought it was drinking exceptionally well now, but we had it four hours of breathing. Not an alcohol or fruit bomb, thankfully, all rather elegant but not timid at all.
These folks clearly know what they are doing and while great Napa Cabs are all pricey, these folks are competitive and it was worth what we paid.

November 30, 2019 - Tannins are upfront right now; so we might have popped the cork a year or two early. That said, this is lovely in a fruit-forward Cali-Cab fashion from a strong vintage. Wood shavings and mulled cherries in the bouquet. Creamy cassis, pencil shavings and cedar on the palate with still too much tannic action at the back end. Might come together in another year. Drink 2021-2024. Worth Seeking Out.

October 23, 2019 - Cherry, raspberry, cassis, nutty cheese, cinnamon, vanilla, great velvety smoothness, and perfect balance. Drank as a PnP which it does well right now, should drink well over the next 5 years easy.
