November 5, 2022 - Charleston Offlineorama VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Various locations): Drinking well, but still so young. Floral bouquet with cassis, cherry and minty herbs. Napa richness but with elegance and restraint.

November 5, 2022 - Charleston VII; 11/2/2022-11/6/2022 (Charleston, SC (various locations)): This is going to be a truly awesome wine one day and I really look forward to that. In the interim it's still a baby. All of the right stuffing. Just needs time. A treat to get to see the development though.

April 25, 2022 - Had with the 14...both wines were drinking AMAZING...the absolute perfect rich extraction sweetness to dryness wines made in Napa. Just pure crushed dark liqueured berry fruits...creme de cassis and rich soiled earth...expressive bouquet of violets and white flower florals...smoked cherrywood, black olive...again, like the 14, the perfect graphite dryness to the sweet rich fruit...yet SO silky and elegant...the complexities are endless and intoxicating. The extra age on the 12 has it in one less gear than the 14...in more integration mode with restraint...but brilliant none the less. Just gorgeous!

February 26, 2022 - Opened two hours before drinking and put into a decanter shortly before drinking. Certainly approachable, but still very young. Concentrated with lots of muscles. Dark berries, black pepper, burned oak. Perfectly balanced with restrained acidity and gentle tannins. Great.

December 26, 2021 - NR Never reached what I know it can become as it struggled to open on Xmas eve and was very nice on 2nd day but then fell apart. I know it can be amazing but I have been cursed when it comes to serving this vintage. Glad to see all the great notes on this vintage. Luckily a Maxem and Carter OG saved the day!
