October 13, 2016 - Light, bright ruby colored, this is a new world fruited but old world styled almost Burgundian style wine. Nicely balanced olsd world and new world combo. Nice red fruits like cherry and raspberry, plenty of minerality and some earthiness. Bright acidity suggests decent aging potential but drinking well tonight with a spinach, beet green and feta stuffed chicken breast wrapped with prosciutto.

April 27, 2016 - Haden Fig 2013 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (SRP $28): Medium ruby in color, this is a relatively delicate, streamlined, and restrained Pinot Noir. Cranberry and dried cherry aromas extend to the palate and are combined with earth tones and underbrush accents. Light to medium in body, the wine has pleasantly tart acidity, gentle tannins, and a medium-long lingering finish. This is a very drinkable, well-balanced Pinot Noir that won’t break the piggy bank. It would make a nice addition to any dinner table or backyard cookout, so stock up now! Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon. Other info: ABV 13.5%, 10 months aging in 27% new French oak, 1, 025 cases produced, cork enclosure.

April 22, 2016 - Wine is light, but you can taste the fruit. Well made and very drinkable. Kind of cold and rainy here today, but I can imagine drinking this a little chilled when the weather is warmer.

February 18, 2016 - I found the fruit to be too tart for my liking....the acidity and tartness
Overrode any complexity that may have been there....wouldn't buy again

December 7, 2015 - Dark ruby in color, this wine reveals cranberry, orange peel, black tea and forest floor on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with dried cherry compote and earthy, mushroom elements. The finish is medium with the black tea and forest floor elements coming out the strongest.

Purchased for $21US, this is a very Burgundian style of OR PN. What it lacks in fruit it make up for in secondary, earthy elements.
