  August 17, 2023 - Really enjoyable. Deep amber in color with mellow honeysuckle, candied citrus, beeswax, and an oxidized nutty note on the finish.

  Found this in the back of the cellar and since it's a warm/hot evening pulled a cork. Fruit and acid have both diminished, but still exist and went well with a mixed greens and cold steak salad. Best at a normal red cellar temperature now rather than above as it was in earlier years. Drink up sooner than later.

  May 26, 2016 - Seems to have improved with age. Slight bitterness on the front end dissolves into a nice acidic bite. Tangy with citrus zest, stone fruits and honeydew.
  Some tannins on the finish which emphasize the skin contacted nature of the wine. Fairly complex and refreshing but marred slightly by the bitter note upfront.
