August 7, 2022 - Wonderful
May 16, 2022 - Probably waited too long. It peaked soon after decanting. Old world nose. Drank well for 30 MJ utes then faded.
September 25, 2021 - PnD let air for 1hr.
Consistent with previous notes. Fading a bit and showing it’s flab a bit. Drink up.
March 17, 2021 - clean and well balanced tuscan. nothing special, but always an honest supporter with pizza and burgers
December 15, 2020 - This was a very good Italian blend. It had held up very well despite some feelings that it might be outside its preferred drinking window. It was excellent!
December 15, 2020 - Very nice. Really enjoyed this.
September 11, 2020 - Delicious
May 10, 2020 - Sangiovese, with some Cab. Sauv., Merlot and Syrah. Med + ruby, with a garnet rim. Clean, complex, with tart red fruit, ripe black fruit and some tobacco, leather, earth and sweet baking spices. Aged in French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels for 12 mos. Dry, with med acidity, med., velvety tannins and med alcohol (13.5%). At 7 years, it is remarkably smooth, polished, well integrated with med (+) body, flavor intensity and length. A remarkably "serious" age-worthy wine for less than $19.00. In a blind tasting, I think it would out-perform just about any other red blend in its price point.
