November 23, 2023 - Interesting that the producer was not only able to get such high acid from Fiano in Campania, but balance it with riper fruit flavors from the grape and region. Most warm-climate traditional-method wines are a little too ripe for my preference. This is a little fuller and richer, with some fruit "sweetness," but it's all in harmony, and works for the style. Green apple, ripe poached pear, lychee, faint mango, pastry crust, toast. Nice.

Traditional Method Sparkling Fiano! Sure, why not...
Lemon peel, orange peel, mango, passion fruit, yeast notes, chalk. Balanced acidity, and overall really nice bubbles. Also, it's very well priced at $23!
Great with baked red snapper. (caught the same day we ate it) -

August 21, 2021 - Not terribly expressive on the nose - light floral notes, nutty, bread crust. Clearly aged on lees.
Very energetic on the palate with a focus on freshness, acidity, and very active bubbles. Slightly nutty, wet rocks, lemon, green apple, and a nice honey note provides balance. Pleasant lingering finish.
Pairing perfectly with calamari.
side story: The label on this wine used to be orange, but veuve clicquot sent a cease and desist letter stating that the producers relatively minuscule production (250 cases) had lowered their business by ~10%.1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 6, 2020 - Aroma: just like you would imagine a sparkling fiano to smell like. Autolytic notes blend with hazelnut and smoke. The palate follows suit, with a blend of hazelnut and smoke, but also herbs and honey. The acidity is truly remarkable as it is quite bracing. Finish is long with some minerality/wet rock notes. This wine would probably benefit from some additional time in the bottle to be quite honest.

December 17, 2016 - This has consistently been one of my favorite sparklers of 2016.
