December 28, 2022 - Tasted harsh cherries. I was disappointed since the color was so beautiful when I poured the wine. Dinner with family and teriyaki salmon. Drink up.

March 22, 2021 - Bright red fruit that had some good acidity. Great with salmon or steelhead. 2014’s are really good right now.

October 16, 2020 - Friday Night Brown Bagger (J&J's): Double blind. Light ruby color. Cherry and spice notes. Medium-bodied. Flavors of cherry, game and spice with some earthy elements mixed in. Initally thought this could be a Burg but the kept coming on so it showed more OR as it opened. Really nice, though I was very surprised to see a '14 unveiled. (R&R)

June 5, 2020 - I bought 6 splits of this and have had 2 already and I don't know if they are all bad or not but I can't drink this wine.
I see all the great ratings and I think I just got a bad batch of wine.
It doesn't smell bad and the corks are fine so I'm just confused on this one.
It's really verging on undrinkable. I have four left and will try another one but at this point I can't see how this wine gets the ratings everyone is raving about.
