June 20, 2021 - Had 1 a few days ago than was fine but this bottle was browing and on the decline. Will have to open another soon.
May 5, 2020 - While typical Pinot characteristic. Lush, fruity, really big, too big. Call it a Zinfandelized Pinot version.
February 23, 2019 - Decanted 2 hours before blind tasting, re-bottled for event.Nice cherry, strawberry on the nose, pleasant with food and better than many CA pinots at higher prices.
April 21, 2018 - Pretty much the same impressions I had with my first bottle almost a year ago, although it did get better over the couple of hours of being opened. Perhaps I will try decanting the next bottle. Still very happy with the $15/delivered price!
December 10, 2017 - While very enjoyable, this wine has poor typicity; it's almost unrecognizable as a Pinot Noir. Very lush mouthfeel, fruit seems more black than red but has good concentration, at that. Low to medium acidity.
November 27, 2017 - Dark ruby, black cherry, medium body/acidity. Decent Pinot for the price but lacks depth.
August 21, 2017 - Black cherry, a bit of plum, cinnamon. Sweet oak, lower acidity than your average Pinot. Easy drinking style, enjoyable for that but not a lot of varietal typicity.
August 8, 2017 - Ok, nice nose, a bit acidic, limited.
August 5, 2017 - Nice, deep fruity, rich Pinot. Nice notes of cherry and spice.
May 29, 2017 - Excellent QPR for $15/delivered. Nice fresh strawberry/cherry nose, perhaps a bit more new world than I might like but waaay better than many CA Pinot Noirs I have had for more $.
