March 19, 2022 - took a bit of time to open, but quite magnificent. excellent tension and surprisingly delicate around the clear red fruit.

March 16, 2022 - Just as special as 3 years ago. Cork in perfect shape. Followed over 4 hours open and it took a good hour to fully seam together. Such a lovely bouquet and the palate just haunts with its persistence. I am really happy to have a mag remaining.

Full Pull Summer Reoffers, 7/3/2017(La Rioja Alta Rioja Gran Reserva 904) Hello friends. Reoffers today on a lovely quartet of wines: Originally offered January 17, 2016. Once I learned that we would not be receiving an allocation of the 2007 vintage (it’s a long unhappy story), I grabbed all the remaining bottles of the ’05 in western Washington. It’s going to be awhile before we’re able to sell a new vintage of the 904, but we can take comfort in the fact that the 2005 vintage is better than ever. In addition to the two reviews below, this wine also ended up as Wine Enthusiast’s #1 wine of the year in their 2016 Top 100 list. Wine Enthusiast: Copyrighted material withheld.
