April 6, 2018 - 100% top Pinot Noir from Bouzy. An interesting and very expressive champagne. Mature apples/cider, honey, caramel and yeast, nicely balanced with a high level of acidity. Not very complex and feels a bit heavy after the first glass - but what really makes it stand out is an impressive length. 2 min. after a sip it is still there playing around in your mouth. Would go very well with mature cheese. I will buy a few again when passing by Saves in Bouzy (35-40 Euro), but not at the crazy prices it's sold for in wine stores.
