May 4, 2018 - Almost 5 yo and going strong. Fantastic. Everything I have said before and more. Love this! Grapefruit, minerality, plus the quinine descriptor others have noted is spot on. I love the aromas that come off this wine with a little air. Mountain herbs and wildflowers.

April 20, 2018 - Absolutely delicious, unique stuff. Jura ouillé notes, bruised apple, white tea, etc., but the most distinctive feature, as others have noted is the strong grapefruit/quinine note that is accentuated by just the slightest note of spritz. Not the most amazing qpr you'll find anymore, sadly, but a pretty badass drink.

March 17, 2018 - Bronze-colored in the glass with a quinine note on the nose.

Crisp, like a golden delicious apple, with good supporting acidity. Very good.

October 29, 2017 - The grapefruit note is almost too much on this wine but I like it. The high acidity makes it refreshing. My wife liked it and she is an oaky Chardonnay drinker.

August 16, 2016 - Light straw color. I detect beeswax and honeycomb on the nose. Crisp and chalky on the palate. There is terrific depth here and a satisfying, zippy finish. This domain makes lovely wines. (90)

August 7, 2016 - Similar to the Les Alpes, but I think this year's 2013 Les Alpes is slightly better than the Le Feu.

January 24, 2016 - Reserving judgement. . .started out with pronounced honey and ripe pear notes aromatically and on the palate, quickly transformed into stony citrus. Never seen a glass go so quickly from ripe fruit to cold steel!
