December 3, 2022 - By far the best 2010 Brunello I’ve tasted (out of about 15 or so) and easily one of the best Brunelli I’ve experienced on pop and pour. And it gets better with some air! A showstopper with best-in-show pedigree. But don’t take it from me. My wife, who adores Brunello and has a far better palate (yes I’m jealous), feels this is equal to any Brunello she’s ever tasted. This is why we love Brunello so much. Amore!

November 13, 2022 - a bit of funk pushed the limits on this one, unlike previous bottles; still very nice

November 10, 2022 - Color is starting to develop a brick red hue on edges but still youthful. Cedar and dank cellar on the nose but lots of cherry fruit. Fruit carries through as lead on first taste. Tannins have dropped off and not particularly noticeable. Acidity stands out as high. Drinking very well. A beautiful wine.

October 30, 2022 - Popped'n poured at home - this is drinking beautifully right now (even better with a decant) and very consistent.

September 5, 2022 - Very tight and tannic on opening compared to other vintages at this stage. Decanted and drank over next 4-5 hours. Tart red and blue fruit with great energy. Tar and roses on the palate initially. This wine always reminds me of Barolo. Great pair with pecorino and food in general. After a few hours, dried herbs on the nose came out and saline on the finish. Great potential and no hurry to drink my remaining bottles.
