October 27, 2020 - Notwithstanding a brutally brittle cork that somehow retained its shape in the bottle despite being veritable sawdust, this wine was highly rewarding. Arguably a touch past peak, no doubt due to evident poor storage before I acquired it, with complex aromas of licorice, exotic spice and dried flowers. Layered black fruit on the palate, slightly tart and a bit dusty, with fine minerality and more spice emerging on the very long, expansive finish. Thank goodness Dunn is indestructible.

August 3, 2020 - Great deep color, decanted 1/2 hour, still developed into easy drinking for the next hour. Wonderful with Salmon and A5 Wagu beef.

June 27, 2020 - Red fruit, tobacco, hints of green, high acid. Stunningly delicious and youthful.

May 9, 2020 - Soaring aromatics, red fruits, structured, tasted like a clean first growth Bordeaux. Randy got it right on this timeless beauty.

December 21, 2019 - Wine Flock Champagne Gala (Park Ridge CC): One of my favorites in the vertical. Out of magnum and in a wonderful spot with tarry cedar, tobacco and light bell pepper. Fruit is youthful and the structure firm but tame and integrated. This will age for decades, but so good now.
