  January 8, 2023 - Burgundy in colour. Stewed red fruit, lots of cherry, on the nose with underlying potpourri. Also includes a bouquet of spicey Xmas fruit cake. More stewed dark red berry fruits and stewed plums on the palate. Liquorice and dark chocolate coco in the mouth tail too. Ready to drink now and needs to be drunk soon. Windows likely the next 6 months.

  Aroma Bouquet: ripe fruit, herbal, chocolate
  
  Taste Texture Finish Balance: spicy, slight tannin, decant or let breathe, lingering finish, medium to heavy body.chocolate, even balance.
  
  Overall: 4.5/5 fantastic cab franc blend. Merlot adds some punch without over powering the wine. Nice complexity.

  February 25, 2017 - 4th Saturday group uptown tasting (R&C's): Double blind. Opens with an odd funky quality that eventually blows off leaving dark fruit and herb notes. Structured and firm with flavors of black fruit, spice and green herb flavors. Finishes with good length. Young. Guessed Napa cab.
