  May 10, 2023 - Quinta do Vallado tasting and dinner (Restaurant Vanderveen, Amsterdam, NL): Intense and very concentrated but delicate and elegant, lovely hit of volatile acidity, hint of Douro bake because the oldest (50-90 year old) components were aged on the estate, Madeira-like tanginess, very fresh and vibrant, long finish with very good definition.

  December 14, 2022 - In the bouquet coffee, cane sugar, caramel, honey and vanilla. Same on the palate, chocolate, a lot of sweetness, walnuts, figs, burned sugar, some oxidized impressions and beautiful acidity. Overall very intense and complex and also elegant in a way. Impressive wine.

  July 23, 2022 - Amazing stuff. Have severel bottles but this one was a bit darker. It was a lovely glass. Rich and power - 1 glass was actually enough
