August 30, 2022 - Consumed over two days. First day coravin

Floral aromatics. Licorice, dark cherry and cacao. Great energy and finish. I love picking up the library releases direct from the vintner.

April 12, 2019 - The last TN really does justice to this magnificent wine. I procured a couple of Keplinger's white Rhone blends a few years ago and thought that they stood with the best non-French white Rhones I'd ever had, so when I had a chance to get a mixed lot of Helen's wines for a bit under $40/bottle on an auction website recently, I jumped at the chance. This wine is deeply dark, fragrant of ripe cherries and dark berries with just a touch of funk and eucalyptus. After a decant of a couple of hours, the fruit just sang, with secondary notes of mint, chocolate, white pepper and earth, backed by strong but well-integrated tannins and acidity which gives the sense that this wine will hold up and even improve over the next 5-10 years. Stylistically, the wine blends the northern and southern Rhone, probably leaning just a bit more toward the latter. Perfect accompaniment to burgers but can probably work well with anything--or on its own--other than fish. Buy any of this you can get your hands on.

April 6, 2019 - Deep Red in the glass, with strong aromas bursting from the glass.

Medium/Full mouthfeel followed by an abundance of dark flavors. Structured magnificently, tannins are present and a lengthy finish.

We were just blown away with the depth of flavors and lack of anything distracting.

The wine is singing in the glass, and while it will certainly last several more years, this bottle is tempting us to open the others.

This Lithic is placing high in the WOTY contenders for us.
