March 14, 2019 - Very good for a village. I could have sworn this was a Vosne though. The nose was really nice - sweet red cherries, darker blueberries, a touch of herb, rubber and tons of spice. Nice. The palate was full and lovely, with delicious flavours of blueberries seasoned with notes of spice and a little bit of earth. There was a beautiful feel of purity and transparency in spite of its power and girth - really Dujac in this sense. Good finish too. Long, minerally and full of conviction. This was a really solid village wine. Lovely stuff that will be even better 6-8 years down the road.

February 17, 2019 - Nice nose, palate full of dark fruit, spice. Nice and long finish. Nicely in balance with tannins that are resolving. This should continue to improve, and is a lovely, full wine that is batting above its village status.

February 8, 2019 - Darkish red, savoury black berries, perfect poise, excellent Burg, i thought as good as the 2011 chevalier vosne Les Maizieres VV which were my two best wines of the night, drank with the 13 tours, 11 Pegau & 15 walter Hansel estate, just into its drinking window

January 21, 2019 - @Asparagus was kind enough to leave me some to try on Day 2.

Tasted over 2 days and it managed to last the distance.

Instant attraction at first whiff. Nose was floral, some spice, orange peel. I could be smelling this all day.

On the palate, it was good but underperformed the nose. Still, there was nice red fruit, spice and underlined by a racy structure. Will benefit from some ageing and could become a serious outperformer in time to come.

January 20, 2019 - Drank over to days. Lovely, lovelypinot nose. More dark fruited than I remembered, this is a very serious village wine. Structured, this should have the structure to age for decades.
