January 27, 2024 - At CDT, no notes, last wine of the flight. Wine of the day for me followed by the 2014 Bouchard Corton Charlemagne.

Mot to be out done, and although considered less desirable vintage than its neighboring vintages, the 2013 Domaine Dujac Clos de La Roche was simply stunning. Everything was in balance with the darker fruits, deep earth, minerality, ripe stems and long peppery finish. The wine was paired with a herb crusted A5 Wagyu and sweetbreads to cap off a gorgeous lunch by Chef Christopher and team.

December 28, 2023 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red fruits, spices, cherry, violet, flora, toast. Medium acidity and medium tannin.

December 16, 2023 - This is really good, and one of the best that I’ve tasted chez Dujac across the range of last 2 decades. There is not a ton of development on this yet as you’d expect from a 10 year old grand cru of this stature but enough to really pique your interest and offer plenty of excitement. Medium ruby, ripe strawberries, blood orange, spicy currants, raspberries, earthy tones and just a ton of minerals and salinity at the back. The coolness of the vintage shows yet the wine carried enough weight and complexity to make the best of what the year offers.

December 12, 2023 - Salon Ficofi Paris walkabout tasting and dinner, no detailed tasting notes. Wow, very good balance here, multi layered.
