January 16, 2018 - No sign of maturity in colour. This is a simple, cherry tart, leafy wine with some spice and smoke. Finishes clean and short. Great with pizza although that’s not a very high bar. I think we enjoyed our time together but if I’d paid current prices for it, i’d be much more critical.

  • Personal Opinion Likes this wine:

January 8, 2018 - Definetly better and more open then I remember from a year ago. Ripe, dark red fruit and anise overtones. Classic profile. Simple, yet satisfying. Medium bodied. Fine, dusty, dry tannins. Balanced acid. Medium bodied. Medium finish. Good value. Paired PERFECT with Italian sausage and lentil soup.

June 13, 2016 - cherry, clear colour, shiny; excellent. nose: bit closed; cherries with some tobacco and some metallic/cardboard notes. taste: light bodied, even "thin"; tart fruits - cherries, red currants; bit short on the finish (bitterish). Better than we rememberd previous vintages.

January 19, 2015 - At this time, this wine is closed and tannic. It will probably get better in a few years, shows some promise, but not worth taking up precious cellar space in my opinion.
