July 31, 2023 - Loads of deep, dark fruit. Tannins fairly mellow after a bit of air. Would recommend 1-2 hour decant if drinking in the short term. Otherwise can drink now or hold for several more years.

May 7, 2022 - Been a few years since I have popped this bottle and have one left. The tannins have completely integrated and have created one of the most, if not the most smooth Bevan Cab I have every tasted. I feel like this wine has hit it's peak and won't improve.

July 26, 2019 - Decanted for 2 hours, and it was definitely worth the wait. Beautiful floral and black fruit aromatics. Complex flavors of black cherries, blackberries, licorice and oak with a long smooth finish.

April 6, 2017 - No formal notes because we sucked this thing down. Nose on this bad boy was a mystery. I got black fruits and some other flavors I really liked but couldn't identify. Maybe some high toned menthol but I'm not sure. The word silk comes to.mind when describing the mouth feel. Beautiful range of flavors glide across the entire palate. Seamless integration leads to dusty tannins and an expansive long finish. Fantastic juice.

December 11, 2016 - Best wine of the month by a lot. Well integrated, full and dense body, a bit leaning to fruity without being over the top. It got better after one hour between decanter and big glasses.

It remained me of Caymus Special Selection, but maybe even better.

February 13, 2016 - Tremendous. Ripe fruits, a touch of chocolate - big, silky and balanced. A long and memorable finish that IMO makes this a standout wine.
