  January 7, 2021 - Tasted after 2 hours of air. Dark garnet color. Some bricking. Floral notes. Red berry fruit rolls over the palate. Some spice. Good persistence. Excellent balance. Very nice.

  April 26, 2020 - This is a lovely bdx blend that taste aged -- beyond its less than ten years. Subtle flavors of mint, forest, dark fruits. It is a bit thin on the palate. It actually drank better without food than with. As someone who likes wines with secondary and even tertiary flavors, this was quite nice, but given its advanced age I am not sure it will provide the same pleasure for too much longer.

  January 3, 2020 - Nice and dark in the glass, this brooding wine opens up with time. There are some distinct blackberry notes on the nose -- nice lively blackberry on the palate, with some tannins for structure and acid for lift. Not overly complex at the moment, but I suspect this will improve with 3-5 more years of age. An amazing qpr.

  December 25, 2019 - Still needs time. Very tight after popping the cork. Starting to open after 2 hours of air. Deep red berry fruits. Some gritty drying tannins. There is some oak here but it is balanced by the fruit. Medium plus finish. Should age nicely for several more years.
