August 28, 2019 - Cedar, red cherries, pencil shaving, espresso, raspberries, medium body, very nice Sangiovese acidity balance against the fruit / soft oak, great long finish. Drink now up to 5 years.

August 22, 2019 - Sour, red and dark cherry, leather and a whiff of menthol. Earthy, terracotta tannins. The acidity carrying plenty of energy. Right in the zone now with a good mix of youth and age but will live many years yet. Great balance overall just lacking a little excitement for me.

August 18, 2019 - From a 375 ml: sour cherries, strawberry, fig, espresso, dark chocolate, soft chewy tannins, medium body, elegant long finish.

August 10, 2019 - Elegant and soft Brunello, very round at this stage. Cherry, vanilla, spice and some herbs constitute a very nice palate. The finish is long and very smooth. I would say at peak, but will keep for many years.

August 3, 2019 - Worth the wait. This has improved quite a bit since last bottle. Cherry . . . Hate to say it, but some cough syrup. Sucrets? It wasn’t off-putting or bad, just something I picked up. Also some nice, sweetish tannins. I really enjoyed this.
