    December 4, 2022 - House favorite at that price that doesnt fail. Citrus, yeast and yellow apple on the nose. Palate is lemon forward that finishes more towards yellow apple. Good texture and mousse that makes it feel slightly lush relative to some more restrained cousins with finer mousse. Medium-long finish.

    November 12, 2022 - Served at 40 degrees. I get citrus from this and this wine comes off as bright as a result. Not grapefruit but tart like grapefruit, perhaps quince or peach? Lot of activity at side of tongue. Fine and medium spaced bubbles, with some large bubbles rising faster. It's almost a subtle pear flavor also. Fooling me big time. But not at all harsh. Quite nice in fact. Had with strong flavored salami and cheese so it could chase those flavors away. Not top shelf but very nice. Some champagnes start off bitter. Not this one. Its dialed down. Warming up a bit, revealing more of everything previously described. None of the flavors are excessively sharp, which speaks of balance to me. Now 3 hours open. Sharper, more acid. More reactive on palate. even said, still feels balanced. Ready now or could have lasted another 5 years perhaps. Recommended and worth buying again.
