    October 11, 2021 - Straight forward champagne. Better with air and time. Paired well with grilled shrimp , rice and garden salad .

    October 8, 2021 - Cantalupo Aged Nebbiolo Masters (NY Vintners): The standard brut reserve but had been disgorged about 5 years ago. I don’t know that I would have picked that up if I hadn’t been told, but I might say that it prob has a bit less baby fat than if it was a younger wine. None of the older aged characteristics here though. The best comparison I can make is spring water. Very easy to drink and very satisfying but light and not super flavorful if that makes sense.

    October 2, 2021 - Robert's Get-Together at Margaux's Table: Very nice Champagne that offers a pretty good QPR. Showed lots of toast and pear with a slight sea breeze on the nose. Palate showed toasty notes, pear, apple and some minerality, with a lightly bitter finish, which I though detracted from otherwise very good wine. The bitterness did disappear with some additional time in the glass. I would not turn this down, and actually wish I had some in my cellar! 91+ for me.
