May 14, 2023 - Dark sweet blueberry, raspeberry and bramble
April 5, 2023 - A nice aged Zinfandel, although I much prefer these 3-6 years from vintage date. Agree that this would best pair with grilled steak.
March 21, 2023 - Just gorgeous zin, drinking beautifully now. In my opinion this has hardly evolved and could hold for another 6+ yrs, although there is no reason to wait.
March 6, 2023 - Still has plenty of dark blue and black fruit. Very big body and some alcohol is present on the finish. Drinking very well and can probably go another 2 years. Drink it with grilled meat and/or sauces using roasted tomatoes.
January 19, 2023 - Deep rich blackberry nose and flavors, rolls across the palate, touch of alcohol in the finish...but just popped and poured and already delicious. Last bottle...drink or short hold.
December 16, 2022 - Bravo! In a good spot, no need to wait. Herbs, and orange rind on the nose, with hints of raspberry and dark chocolate. On the palate: classic old vine Zinfandel profile with raspberry licquer, hints of black fruits and fig. Long finish with well resolved dusty tannins and integrated oak. There are some hints of secondary flavors emerging and the briary brambly flavors have given way to more harmonious profile. This is going last a few more years but I would be inclined to drink up over the next 18 months or so to avoid disappointment.
October 21, 2022 - Drinking beautifully. Pure class, OLD vine Zin.
August 22, 2022 - Stunner...black fruits, mint, dense and flavorful. Medium finish. Holding out for more complexity...
April 5, 2022 - Corked.
February 19, 2022 - As good as Zin gets. Big fruit plus secondary flavors. PnP and drank with meatloaf. Drink or hold.
