April 2, 2018 - Me and that stupid idea of letting italian ordinary wine mature for seven years or so, A beautiful deep cherry colour. Aromas from the "botti", roast beef with damask cherry sauce and cloves. A little monolithic but also fine. On the palate is simple but effective. It preserves acidity and also some length thanks to the high alcohol although the texture it offers has remained very diluted.

July 4, 2016 - A little light in body bit a great pairing with pizza and or tomato sauce. Typical Chianti Classico in flavor. I recommend it.

March 30, 2016 - Lots of dusty cherry on the nose, a touch medicinal, a touch of earth character on the nose. Full on the palate with some starched tannins, in a really good way. For $20 that's a great Chianti. 90% Sangiovese and then Caniolo and Colorino. Apparently this guy is also serious about not adding international varieties.

November 4, 2015 - Pleasant dried cherry and earth notes with ample supporting tannin and acidity. A very good traditional Chianti that complements Italian tomato- based food especially well. excellent QPR too!

July 11, 2015 - From memory. Fruit forward with ripe plums, blueberry flavors. Smooth and creamy. Not that complex. Lacks soul and a little too modern for me. Not bad but not my cup of tea.
