December 4, 2019 - 3cl sample served cool in large balloon glass. Mid copper-gold. Deep, sweet, woody nose, with lots of caramel, a little cooked banana, and spice. Rather fiery edge. Disappointing taste: initially sweet, with milk chocolate and sweet coffee, but the midpalate is disjointed, overly woody, and the finish is too spiritous and astringent. Surprisingly harsh considering the suggested price. [40% abv; RRP ~£125].

July 19, 2019 - Blimey this smells good, lots of tobacco and leather with menthol, balsamic notes and citrus peel.
Much drier tasting than the 18, some wood tannin, very rich, long and elegant. Superb.
