March 18, 2024 - Golden hue. Round and creamy, toasted bread and nuts. Nice full malolactic fermentation here. This is hedonistic and pampering for all the guests. 94 points.

December 10, 2023 - A bit darker with the PN mix (and after the BdB flight), nice, structured, some good yeast character, but a bit closed. However, had 1/3 left over 2 days later and was stunningly good. Aromatic nose, good orchard fruit and autolysis that went amazingly well with a fois pate and cheese. Just goes to show that champagne needs to breathe as well. Next time try decanting. Newport Seafood Champagne Lunner.

July 10, 2023 - Luxury Champagne and has all the same markers as the Comtes de Champagne bottling. Some gunpowder on the nose, gentle toast, butter, brioche, green apples and citrus notes. Vibrant mousse, sexy wine. Yes please. With Christian and Lene in the south.

March 14, 2023 - Minerals and a touch of butterscotch and opens up with roasted coffee notes in a very pleasant way. Nice acidity on the palate with red apples and some butter cream before showing some bitterness on the lengthy finish.

January 13, 2023 - Uttterly wonderful, as it always has been. It has that slightly acrid grip which sets off the sumptuous chardonnay fruit. Gorgeous.

December 18, 2022 - Light to mid straw. Yeasty, bready richness on the nose. Attack a little leaner and lighter. Lithe and zesty mid palate. Obvious dosage on the finish. Feels as if it’s not quite there yet, constituent parts playing solos rather than in harmony. Decent material. ***1/2

November 15, 2022 - Hawksmoor Monday (Hawksmoor Guildhall): Lovely pale gold colour. On the nose - a hint of parmesan and yeast. On the palate - nice acidity but some body to it - really nice stuff and a great start to proceedings. Another reminder that the non prestige wines from the big houses can be both excellent and interesting...

March 27, 2021 - Drunk a night after the 13. They're both glorious, grippy and deep, but this is a touch leaner and tighter.
