  October 19, 2023 - Decanted 6 hours. Probably needed more. It turned into a really nice wine. Earth tones. Complex and balanced. Delicious

  May 12, 2023 - Popped and poured. Quite gorgeous, more purple than anything; rich-looking. Lovely ripe fruit in the nose is very deep and floral; violets and lilac. Still seems incredibly young and primary--and that's a good thing. Fans out nicely on the finish. One of the older Hall Cabs I have had, and is very reassuring in that it is 12 years on but still quite youthful. Makes you wonder how this winery can make a Cabernet that tastes so yummy when young and that stands the test of time. It's making me re-think my initial impression that these wines could not age gracefully. Very nice, very impressive! 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

  December 25, 2021 - Big, bold, fruit forward Napa Cab. Blackberry, cassis, chocolate and oak on the palate. Nicely balanced with grippy tannins. While this is tasty today if you are looking for a big cab, this seems to have the backbone to go another ten years and it may be more interesting then.
