February 22, 2022 - Initial opening slams you in the face with redcurrants, cherry, cooked raspberries and hibiscus - a fruit explosion. After that it becomes more floral and gains a pink grapefruit character. The tannins are softer,
but still there, and the characteristic acidity is present but more in balance and less rasping than when young. Very characteristic style. Fun.

July 5, 2021 - Seems to be in a shutdown phase. The fruit is obviously there, especially in the nose, but the palate is monolithic at this point. Cellared since original release.

January 31, 2021 - Very fresh , high acidity, a little tart. Cherry candy and strawberries, violet and a little mushroom coming in. Nice style and as a first from Ghislaine Barthod for me it is promising for what other vintages and the higher range could offer. It is a little simple, especially since it is not the lowest priced regional Bourgogne.

December 31, 2019 - Lovely as always, fresh and lifted, slim and lingering.

  • Ebrim Likes this wine: 89 points

November 24, 2019 - Short note - cherries, mushrooms, well balanced and high quality generic bourgogne, can probably still develop positively, medium finish, medium complex, good concentration and well balanced. 89p+
