April 9, 2023 - Tart red cherry, earth and smoke with still searing acidity. This must have food. Interestingly, I paired this with a sweet and sour pork tenderloin braised with onions and it was terrific. The best pairing for this wine as the sweet and sour balanced the acid here very nicely. Otherwise, as noted before, I would hold this longer.

January 16, 2023 - Bright fresh earth and fruit with high acid. Still firm so it needs decanting. Better with food to offset the acid. Enjoyable.

August 21, 2020 - Searing acidity. Fruit is not as prominent now. Drinks very well, better than most Bourgogne. However, maybe not the most elegant and balanced Bon Batons.
