  April 17, 2017 - Very tight on opening. Didn't start to show for about 2 hours. Flavors were Italian, leather, slightly sour, moderate tannins and a drying finish. Ready to drink, I guess I would not wait. Probably has a few more years but not improving, IMO.

  December 18, 2016 - You can sure tell difference between a low altitude Nebbiolo and the Boca. Tasted over a slow decant and wine grew more intense and integrated over the hours but maintained an alpine freshness throughout.
  
  Light and lively nose of fresh herbs and flowers, very delicate. Palate has loads of wild strawberry with a dense and sappy mouthfeel, acidity courses through the mineral inflected finish, mint and balsamic on the close.
  
  This wine can still go on for quite a few more years, very alive 14 years in. My 1st bottle in a (almost) vertical. 2004 is next but will try that one in 2019.

  September 12, 2016 - PNP. Developed nicely over the next couple of hours. Initial aftertaste gave way quickly to a well integrated wine.
