  December 23, 2023 - Just a big Cali Cab. There is balance but its ginormous. More time needed for this to gain some nuance. Lots of power.

  August 20, 2022 - Hotpot dinner at Old Holland. Finished easily by 3 pax in 1+ hour. Pop and pour.
  Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of blackcurranrt, blackberries, integrated milky vanilla oak, chocolate, creme de cassis, dark licorice, light earth with more air. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, good high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%), well integrated high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of creme de cassis, rich blackberries and blackcurrant, milk chocolate, grilled capsicum with more air. Long finish.
  Very good quality. Classic feel without too much of that American flamboyance. Good time to drink already.

  August 7, 2022 - Black cherry, black currant, pencil lead, and oak aromas. Good acid still. This probably has another 5-6 years at least

  July 12, 2021 - So nice drinking properly aged and well made Napa cab. This is just on the downside of peak, lighter finish, lighter fruit, so if you have it still drink up!
  
  Perfect with mixed grill outside on a summer evening!
