June 22, 2021 - 13년 빈임에도 옅은 루비빛깔을 띄며
빈티지의 갈색 띠는 별로 보이지 않았음
처음에는 가벼운 꽃향 및 붉은 체리향이 지배적이었으나
시간이 지나면서 올라오는 오크향과 탄닌이 많이 느껴짐
잘 익은 피노도 탄닌과 바디감이 있을 수 있다는 걸 알 수 있었고
너무 빨리 마셔서 시간이 지남에 따라 변화되는 모습을 알 수 없어서 아쉬웠음

February 2, 2019 - Clos des Réas / Pontet-Canet tasting-cum-lunch (Restaurant Bak, Amsterdam, NL): Very tight and energetic, little noticeable oak, relatively tough, on the hard side, does not have the charm and generosity I have come expect from Clos des Réas, slightly uneven perhaps, red currants and cranberries. Probably low-level TCA. Not rated.
February 2, 2019 - Clos des Réas 2006-2011. Clos des Réas is a 2.1245 ha vineyard surrounded by a very tall stone wall. Clos des Réas is located below Vosne-Romanee Les Chaumes. Second wine in the third flight. Not rated because this wine had a slight T.C.A. note sadly...
November 26, 2016 - Belle couleur grenat , limpide.
L'élevage est, bien sûr, plus appuyé que le Vosne village.
L'attaque du vin est presque résineuse, mais les petits fruits rouges et les effluves d'eucalyptus ressortent immédiatement.
Le fruit s'exprime sur un lit qui évoque le grain roti.
Tout cela annonce une belle complexité qui se pointera en moyenne garde.
Comme tous les 2013, la densité est relativement modeste, mais le vin est fin et élégant
Très cher et pas à ma portée, mais indéniablement un grand vin.

Youthful and open nose. Fresh strawberry, cranberry, forest floor, asian spice and spicy oak. Bone dry, medium bodied with firm, medium tannins and medium(+) acidity. Medium(+) intensity of flavors. A bit tight and austere but still pretty light mouthfeel which I've found in other wines from M Gros before. Fairly drinkable today but will benefit from mid-term aging.
January 12, 2015 - Good depth to the nose, fine fruit, rather dark, spices, earth. On the palate pretty tight, a little bitter and lean, very fresh, good length. Needs time. 88-89+(+)
