April 27, 2019 - This was a very lovely bottle from a difficult vintage. The nose here shows lovely ripe red berry fruits, plenty of the classic spice notes, a bit of earth and floral notes. The palate has lovely depth and very sauve tannins that are fully enveloped by the fruit. No hint of anything harsh or underripe. A very good effort.
December 27, 2017 - Very young and a little closed on the nose but showing more after some time and air. I love the palate. Nice tannins which let the wine stick in your mouth. Prunes and fresh strawberry. Nice acidity, good wine.

August 7, 2016 - This wine begins with a spicey, floral bouquet with a mix of red and black fruit. The aromatics are express, youthful and detailed. The color is a medium translucent ruby. The medium bodied palate shows youthful fruit, detail and length. There is excellent overall balance with the finish giving fine grained tannin and a medium amount of acidity. This shows well now for its youthful fruit and overall balance.

April 8, 2015 - Visit to Domaine Francois Lamarche-Vintage 2013 (Vosne Romanee): Red. Already fragrant. Light weight, fine black fruit, high acidity and a slightly peppery finish. Lean, classic, in need of time.
March 5, 2015 - This is incredibly tight, but displayed at least the potential of powerfully ripe spicy fruit with lots of inward aromas ready to burst forward as soon at it settles into itself. Lots of material here, though I didn't think it was over extracted at all.
January 13, 2015 - Elegant fruit, some oak, spices. Good mouthfeel, slightly mineral, spicy with round tannins and good length. 90-91+
