November 19, 2023 - Decanted for 20 minutes but better after 45 minutes as the fruit amplified and the tannins integrated. The color was a clear medium violet. Dark fruits along with some black tea dominated the nose. The medium bodied palate showed the dark fruits - blackberry and black cherry, lots of spice, the black tea, some earth and a touch of minerality. The acidity was balancing and the tannins were integrated. This wine should continue to hold.

September 23, 2023 - Medium brick-ruby color, clear in the glass. Strong aromatics of fig & black cherry with sweet spices like clove, tea & tobacco leaf, along with fresh hibiscus and hints of anise seed. Ripe and expressive on the palate, leading with cherry and showing a hint of sappiness along with integrated depth of root spices, cedar, vanilla, black tea and mushroom. Medium-bodied, with lithe airy density, stately elegance along with sneaky grip. Well-framed in acid and structure, closing with creamy round tannins and very nice length. Youthful integration with nice secondary influence, still on the early side.

September 24, 2022 - First of the Littorai’s from 2013. Beautiful Cali Pinot; slightly dense; aromatic with a medium long finish. The vintage on release was totally aromatic but this bottle seems to have lost some of it.

Nevertheless, glad to have aged this for 9yrs… drinking really well now.

July 11, 2022 - A matured Littorai, driven by sweet strawberry and raspberry aromas. Quite dominant earthy notes, some leather and spice. Well balanced, mineral and long. A stand out Cali pinot.

February 12, 2022 - The elegant yet powerful nose blows you away with earthy tones and balanced acidity. Dark fruits are balanced with gentle smoke, soft menthol and light tobacco.

Extremely long, pleasant finish of lingering red fruit acidity. Amazing pairing with yellowtail toro. A little more definition from the fruit would probably extend the drinking window and give it more ageability.
