October 24, 2023 - Very pretty aromatics, floral, some dark fruit, a little vosne spice. I guess that's a thing. Palate started a little quiet but opened/warmed into a red fruited, crunchy, peppery and even floral mouth filling wine, extremely well balanced. Really good, possibly scored too low. Excellent village wine from a solid vintage. Still has quite a bit of tannin so a long life ahead (though fine with flank steak).

October 24, 2023 - Dinner with the wine group (Heirloom Cafe, SF): Aromatic, floral, red fruited, spices; palate is light bodied, a bit of oak, youthful, some tannin, red fruited; finish is medium length. Aromatics are the strength here, this will evolve nicely over another decade. 92-93

February 15, 2023 - Rich with savoury black fruit. Medium bodied, clean, with good energy and drive till the long finish. Quite modern. It’s a delicious drop. Drinks well over 3 days.
