May 7, 2020 - Black with a light crimson hue. String dry spice, oak, black berries. Stewed Plum, mulberry, blueberry. Smooth creamy chocolate tannins. Balanced acidity. Fruity, dark chocolate, medium to full body. If anything a bit sweet but very enjoyable.

November 8, 2019 - Deep dark crimson black, thin light purple hue. Aroma of forest, shrubs, oak and aniseed. Dark plum, blueberry, mocha, white pepper, licorce to finish. Requires a decent amount of time to breathe, quite sharp finish otherwise. Full bodied, fine tannin which provides structure but sits in the background. Balanced acidity. Still fresh, plenty of fruit, easy to drink. I suggest to will continue to improve in the next couple of years.

June 18, 2019 - Impenetrable black ink. Aroma of pencil shavings, turmeric, dried oak. Dry tannin at front, plum, blackberry, blueberry. Olive to finish. Fine yet grippy tannin, full body but acidity a bit flat. Could do with a couple more years cellaring and perhaps some more breathing time before drinking. A nice wine but not quite the standard I was expecting.

March 15, 2018 - Deep ruby colour. Aroma of pepper, saw dust, resin, hot tar. Cherry, plum, raspberry. Strong drying tannin, overpowers the fruit. Not sure if more time in bottle or more breathing time would assist.
