  April 22, 2018 - Who knows all Pugliesi Primitivos, this is special because from Salento, like best Manduria and Gioia del Colle.
  It has nothing similar with the American Zinfandel.

  March 17, 2018 - Deep garnet color, almost no aroma on opening. High acidity and slight vegetal notes settled after 30 min. Became more nuanced but not overly complex. Enjoyable but not memorable. Let’s see how it does Day 2. I’ve popped the score up to 89 on the 3rd day after sitting under VacuVin. More smokiness emerged as well as tannins. Became much more Zin-like

  May 16, 2017 - Deep garnet almost purple colour. Aromas of blackberries and a mild vegetal component. Mixed herbs and fennel. Hints of barnyard. Medium to full bodied on the palate with plums and earthiness. Plum jam and ripe black fruits on a short and quite tannic finish.

  May 7, 2017 - So many good qualities in this wine dark,full,thick,dry,but I didn't care for it too much.Kind of muddy,normally earth and tar would be a good sign but not here

  October 11, 2016 - As good as the last bottle. Needs about an hour to open. Plum, pepper, earth. Great wine for the price.
