December 18, 2023 - Dinner at Perilla (Chicago, IL): Wow. For a poor Bordeaux vintage, this is really next-level stuff. Unmistakable Pauillac pencil shaving notes on the nose. The palate is a bit soft, and doesn't have the weight and gravitas of a top-vintage Latour, but there's no mistaking the quality behind the winemaking here. I love the delicacy and red-fruited acidity here.

April 29, 2023 - This is ripe and concetrated on the nose. Hedonistic almost, impressive for the vintage.
Cassis, black fruit, tobacco, vanilla, dried cherry, dried cranberry, and damp soil.
Medium body, med+ tannin, med acid. This is a wine of finesse and structure. Probably the best 93 I’ve had. Hard to say if it will get better but it still has plenty of time. Try again in 2-3 years.

a perfect stored bottle. I was right with left bank but I was suprised as I saw the vintage. Had not much great 1993's but I think due to my lack of expirience with this vintage. Everything what you expect from a very good aged Bx. At his peak. 96

February 19, 2022 - The wine of the night? Probably.
This was my second time with the 1993 Latour and this time this wine showed a lot moer fruit. Quite light, harmoneus and with very nice fruit. A great wine from a so-so vintage.
Pnp. Perfectly stored since release 94-95 pts. Drink now.
