December 30, 2023 - Peach, apricot, some honey, stone and citrus, marmalade in the background. Rich fruit, medium+ bodied. Sweet toned thanks to the residual sugar, but nicely balanced by the acidity. It all comes together with polish and focus, at this stage both wonderfully layered without feeling aged or tired at all. I have no reference points for this wine, but glad to have another bottle, and would seek out more.

February 25, 2021 - Lett og frisk pinot gris. Synes ikke den har utviklet seg mye på 5 års lagring.

January 17, 2021 - My last bottle of a full case. Lovely every time I’ve had it. Nice layers of tropical fruit, bright acidity. Good acidity, nice texture and depth. Fairly long finish. Really enjoyable and quite nice with my homemade sourdough bread and Vermont cultured butter.

August 7, 2020 - No problems with removing the cork in my bottle. Medium lemon in color with lavish fruity aromas of candied lemon peel, ripe pear and apricots. Not quite full-bodied, the slightly viscous, beeswax-like texture shows concentrated flavors of apricots, jasmine, honeysuckle, smoke, chalk, candied ginger, mandarin orange, and nutmeg. A streak of acidity lifts the finish. This mature, refined, and complex wine is a great example of Alsatian Pinot Gris.
