December 12, 2021 - Initially on nose some reduction possibly but clears up. Has a touch of that softer crème brûlée style that I’ve seen with young Rivers Marie from the same vineyard. This does develop though and cleans up with some more direct acid and structure developing. Well worth letting this open for an hour.
    13.5% and enjoyable.

March 31, 2021 - Decant, decant, decant! This wine opened up over time to show more body and acidity. Sancerre like elements to this. Mild lemon, mellow fruit, some zing.

December 13, 2020 - Entering a very pleasant middle age - absent youthful exuberance in favor or a deeper and less "fruity" stage. Rather Burgundian, in a good way.

December 11, 2020 - Delicious tart pear, lemon, floral, and mineral notes on the nose and creamy palate with refreshing acidity on the long finish. A killer chard!

February 16, 2020 - Popped and poured. Followed over 6 hours. Alto Bordeaux glasses

For first several hours and independent of serving temp(we varied this), it felt flabby, then the Acidity increased and it became very good. I’d recommend decanting this wine. It felt awkward to me, until the acidity increased. I’m not sure of its development potential. But I’m saving a bottle for next consumption in 3-5yrs.
