December 15, 2018 - Recommend this Dry Creek winery as a destination when touring Sonoma County. This gorgeous Montepulciano varietal is unique in my (45 year) wine experience & is a treat.

Tasted non blind.
Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, roasted meat, white pepper and mixed red fruit. Flavors of Bing cherries and red berries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now.
June 30, 2018 - Just ok. Past its prime? Poor stemware? Not sure. Hard to rate. Went well with sausage and peppers.
February 5, 2016 - Dry. Nice initial bite with a smooth finish. Deep red color with a slight brown bordering on brick. Long rich legs.
December 19, 2015 - Dark, thick with black tar, firm acid. Nice.
October 18, 2015 - Dark, smoky, chewy. Black finish. fine acidic tannin. Very good.
