April 15, 2023 - Opened by Mark. My favorite of the 3 Cal Cabs we opened and one of my favorite California wineries. I previously had the Pride Cabs from the 1991, 1998, 2001, 2005 and 2009 vintages. This 2012 was a blackish purple color. The most fruit forward of the wines that evening. Round with bright ripe fruit. Notes of red currant, licorice and black cherries. Long finish. 95 points.

August 4, 2020 - 1 Hour decant. Full bodied yet ethereal texture, dense plum, graphite, creme de cassis. This one was simply hard to resist until it the bottle was empty. A classic for sure.
