March 12, 2024 - Feels like this is slowly waking up from its dumb phase.
Decanted for 3h, drank over 2h. Really nice nose of pepper and black cherries.
Mouth is more closed. More on the lighter side, of what I’m used too for CR. Lacked some lenght.
Will open my next one in 2-3 years. -

February 5, 2024 - In a nice spot, cool black fruit with plenty of pepper, wild herbs and spice along with some meaty/animale flavors. Fresh and crunchy black fruit with a nice mineral streak. There is a slight green note/pyrazine to the fruit due to the cooler vintage but overall still enjoyable.

August 12, 2023 - Same bottle as Derek. After the Guigal Hermitage this was my second favourite of the night. Beautifully crunchy fruit with some pepper notes. Lovely freshness.

August 11, 2023 - Northern Rhones at Min Jiang: Didn’t place this as Barge but I was confident that this was a ‘13/14 Côte-Rôtie with the cool vintage acidity. Quite Burgundian but had some tannic bite. Liked the edginess of this wine.
