  October 16, 2020 - Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium-plus intensity, cherry, brick dust, and allspice. Palate: Medium-full bodied, smoky tart cherry attack, solid acidic backbone, cranberry and cherry notes dominate the back-end with leather and earthy undertones lingering through a 30-45 second finish. I erroneously described this as "Willamette or Burgundy like" in my first bottle note back in 2016 - this is definitely a New World wine as tasted this evening, but that doesn't mean it's not well made.

  December 25, 2018 - A solid, fruit-forward Sonoma pinot, dark cherry and tart cranberry notes.

  March 18, 2016 - Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cranberry and brush scents dominate with undertones of cinnamon and raspberry. Palate: Medium bodied, tart cranberry and raspberry appear in the front-end, solid acidic back-bone dominates the mid-palate where it's joined by brush and game - venison - flavors. Finish: Lengthy sense of tart red fruit, earth, and brush. Definitely a cool climate pinot - very Willamette or Burgundy like being dominated by earthy and gamey characteristics.
