September 9, 2023 - Nice and developed Brunello, lovely scent. Good flavours of cherries, black tea and a bit of decay but lacking somewhat in energy and vigour. Feels like time to drink up now.

August 26, 2023 - Full bodied. Well balanced with good structure. Firm Tannins and Chewy. Leather, oak, tobacco plums, and cassis.

August 18, 2023 - Crimson with brown and burnt orange. Signature Brunello, offering dark sour cherry, black tea, tobacco leaf, clove and balsam. A fleshy palate beautifully structured; plush yet firm tannins and a lively freshness. At peak but likely to hold here for many years yet. Punches well above its price tag.

May 7, 2023 - In line with previous notes. It is a lighter style of Brunello - red, cherries, lighter body, higher in acid. Mature leather and pipe tobacco flavours too, but always light. And definitely in need of long aeration.

April 30, 2023 - Quick decant. Drank with roast iberico pork. Light bodied, cherries. Somewhat closed. Medium tannins and acidity. High quality but not very complex - no secondary. Will give the next bottle more time in the decanter to open up.
