January 8, 2023 - Drinking great love the lighter alcohol 13.5%. Red fruit strawberry cola. This is elegant stuff velvety mouthfeel and nice finish.
September 24, 2022 - Popped and poured after a quick slight cool down from room temp. Medium to lighter ruby color. Textbook Pinot nose. Black cherry cola, and blackberry. Lighter alcohol for Sonoma Pinot at 13.5. An excellent bottle of wine. Good drinking window now if well stored.
February 22, 2022 - Quite impressive. Elegant with refreshing elevated acidity well balanced dusty, fine well integrated tannins and good intensity of red fruits, including cherry and sweet red plum with complexity from notes of leather and forest floor as well as satisfying mineral finish curbing the typical overexuberance of fruit in most CA pinot. Drinking perfectly now at 52of PNP.
August 28, 2020 - This one stood and delivered. Earthy on the nose -- one might say even barnyard -- but it came together on the palette and the mid-palette. Great mineral finish.
May 12, 2020 - Seamless, with earthy minerals and red and black fruits and medium body. Nothing out of place here, but maybe lacking a touch of depth. I do like this better than some of the more flamboyant SV bottlings.
April 1, 2020 - I think I missed the prime window on this one. Not as vibrant a taste as is normal for pinots fro Selvym.
March 31, 2020 - Maybe missed the prime window on this one. Good but not great in the lineup from Selyem.
March 16, 2020 - Wonderful example of Pinot. I'm glad I laid this down until now. Complex notes and soft finish. Obviously they seem to know how to make great Pinot there.
December 12, 2019 - Popped and poured with dinner, grilled Arctic char. This was really good, better than some of the WS single vineyard stuff. Delightful.
September 26, 2019 - After the events of today, I wanted to open something special. This lovely wine did not disappoint.
